Nutty Rush is a gentle, good-natured 3D platformer with a squirrel hero named Pöfürdük. The forest's legendary giant nuts are stirring, and Grimtalon, an eagle with a serious greed problem, is out to grab every one. It is up to you to stop him by running, jumping and firing nuts at the cranky creatures in your way.

You will travel through five themed worlds, Nut Forest, Autumn Valley, Dark Cave, Snowy Mountains and City Rooftops, across 25 levels in total. A grey mouse sidekick, Sivri, lets you climb on for a speed boost, and some stretches send you down winding slides into ball pits. A boss waits at the end of every world, and the game saves your progress for you.

How to play Nutty Rush

• Move with the arrow keys or WASD.
• Jump with Space, and press it again in the air to double jump.
• Throw a nut with F and sprint with Shift.
• Gnaw with E, and ride or dismount Sivri with Q.
• On touch devices, use the on-screen buttons.
• Against bosses, dodge their attacks, then hit them with nuts when they are open.

General 3D platformer tips:

• Save your double jump. Use it to correct a jump that is falling short, not right at takeoff.
• Watch a boss through one full attack pattern before you go on offense.
• Explore side paths for collectibles. They are usually tucked away just off the main route.
